As i have stated in previous posts, the campsite part of my map will include photos that i have gathered over the last four years of going to Reading festival, as well as other people’s photos. I chose ones that i thought depicted the Reading atmosphere and summed it up in just a single image. I believe the pictures represent the festival as not just a music festival, but a great experience as a whole, which is what i am trying to put across.
I will look for more pictures to add to the slideshow and add to these. I will then use a soundtrack over the top to make the piece less tedious, such as a song from one of the live performances, or a collection of clips from the festival. I intend to put this all together using IMovie. It may not be a complex programme to use, but this is the reason i am choosing it. I don’t have time to figure out other programmes and try to put all of the concepts together, so i will use IMovie to get it done simply, but still creating the same effect when it is finished.
